this past weekend nearly 400 scooters scooted around San Francisco during the biggest rally stateside. and during the sunday ride ... my 1964 Vespa VBB was stolen.

it was my own fault. i'd left it sitting out unlock for a couple hours. the thing is just a frame: no engine, no rear wheel. i figured i could go on the ride and take care of moving it when i got back, seeing as it was the middle of the day and all. wrong answer.

i'm sending out faxes and emails to all the shops in the country. but if you see it, hear about it, or, gawd help you, have it, write me. please. i want it back.
